[AUCTeX] C-c C-f C-d does not work anymore

Since I updated AUCTex a couple of weeks ago, C-c C-f C-d does not
work anymore. It is supposed to remove the innermost TextFontCommand
at point. Instead, it opens a new window with a list of available
TextFontCommand.

Does anyone have an idea what is wrong here?

Many thanks in advance,

Rainer

I can't reproduce your issue. Exactly, what version of AUCTeX are you
using? You should check the value of `LaTeX-font-list'. There, you
should have an entry like

(4 "" "" t)

Do you have it?

Ciao Mosè,

thank you very much for your quick and decisive help. The problem was
that I had somehow deleted ‹(4 "" "" t)›‹ in my ‹.emacs››. I remember I
had manipulated ‹LaTeX-font-list› a couple of weeks ago, too …

The AUCTeX version installed in my Emacs is 11.90.2, but the problem I
had obviously was not connected with the version update. Everything
works fine again now.

Grazie ancora

Rainer
