Dear AUCTeX,

in about five hours you'll celebrate the 25th anniversary of the first
commit to your repository. A long time has passed since then and you
set yourself as one of the most advanced TeX environments.

I'd like to thank all those people who started off your development a
few years before the first recorded commit, every person that
contributed even a single byte or reported a problem or suggested a
new feature to make you better.

I wish you a bright future!

Nice occasion to talk about auctex. I shared your story on social
